1. Service agreement

Sonity operates as a premium music streaming platform. By accessing our services, you agree to these terms and acknowledge our commitment to delivering an exceptional listening experience.

Our proprietary music intelligence systems provide personalized recommendations, playlist curation, and music discovery designed for music enthusiasts and streaming subscribers.

2. Authentication and account security

Centralized authentication

We employ a centralized authentication infrastructure that provides:

  • Single sign-on across all VELIESSA services
  • Multi-factor authentication for enhanced security
  • Encrypted session management with automatic timeout
  • Role-based access control for enterprise accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Local music and private storage

Privacy-first model

Sonity is designed as a local-first music player. Your music files remain stored on your device's private storage (IndexedDB). We do not upload your music files to our servers, ensuring absolute privacy for your collection.

By using the platform, you acknowledge that you are responsible for the legality of the music files you import. Sonity does not provide music downloads or unlicensed streaming content.

Sonity's technology, algorithms, and music intelligence systems are proprietary and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our models.

You retain ownership of any playlists you create on our platform. We use listening data solely to deliver personalized music recommendations and improve our music discovery algorithms.

Service limitations

While we strive for high availability, music recommendations are based on listening patterns and may vary. Content availability depends on licensing agreements with rights holders. Sonity is not liable for content licensing changes or temporary unavailability of specific tracks or artists.

6. Termination and refunds

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, you will retain access to paid services through the end of your current billing period. Refunds are processed according to our refund policy and applicable consumer protection laws.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VELIESSA's liability is limited to the amount paid for services in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

8. Updates and contact

We may update these terms periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. For questions, contact our legal team at legal@veliessa.com.
